SUBDossier is a lightweight desk for personal research notes — dossiers, checklists, photos you attach, red flags, and the call you wrote down later. If something’s confusing or broken, start here.
I usually reply within a couple of business days. Include your device model and iOS version if you can — it saves a round trip.
Quick how-to
- New dossier — open the Dossiers tab and tap +. Or grab a blueprint if you want a blank shell with prompts.
- Photos — Evidence tab, or add from inside a dossier. Camera / library permission is only for those attachments.
- Compare two names — Contrast tab once you’ve got at least two dossiers.
- Flags & old calls — Bench keeps the open risks and past verdicts in one place.
- Export — Bench → export research brief. You pick where it goes from the system share sheet.
Stuff that trips people up
Empty vault on first launch. That’s normal. The app doesn’t invent sample projects for you. Create one when you’re ready, or peek at the field guide / layout preview under Bench if you want to see how a file is structured.
Wipe all data. That’s permanent for what’s on the device. Export a brief first if you still want a text copy.
Scores stuck at “—”. Zero means you haven’t scored that piece yet. Fill them in when you actually have notes, not before.
Feature ideas / bugs
Short emails are fine. For a bug, tell me what you tapped and what you expected. Screenshots help a lot. I can’t promise every idea ships, but I do read them.
